I had the opportunity to create my own printed zine during my time at Pentagram.

I had free reign to choose my topic. 

I chose Dante’s Inferno, part one of the epic poem from the Middle Ages.

It started simple, but blossomed into something I hadn’t planned.

All of it was hinged on the information I uncovered in my research.

My Excel spreadsheet for this is insane.

I tried to answer the simple question:

... What am I looking at?


I had both insight and guidance from Giorgia Lupi on my data visualization for the project. I combined this with the inspiration from video game maps to connect the information I discovered in a cohesive way.
